The SPE student chapter provides students interested in polymers and plastics engineering with opportunities to further their knowledge to become successful in the industry. The club aims to encourage students to follow their interests in the field of polymers through professional networking events, technical talks, and industry tours.

SMTA is an international network of professionals dedicated to skill-building, sharing practical experience, and developing solutions across Electronics Manufacturing (EM). This includes expertise ranging from component manufacturing to system-level integration, encompassing microsystems, emerging technologies, and related business operations. SMTA 91ÁÔÆæ is the university chapter of SMTA. SMTA 91ÁÔÆæ organizes students focused programs in collaboration with the SMTA Silicon Valley Chapter.

On campus, Materials Advantage hosts social events and professional development. The students are active in the local ASM professional section which hosts monthly dinner meetings, which provide great opportunities to learn more about materials engineering in local industry and network with working engineers.
