Study Abroad with COMM

We'll show you the world.

Currently, the Department of Communication Studies offers two FLPs in Guangzhou, China and Berlin, Germany, and encourages students to participate in 91's Summer Abroad Program to Jyväskylä, Finland. Study Abroad courses are a great way to earn course credit while getting the chance to travel, explore the world, and engage in intercultural communication.

Guangzhou, China

China’s history is rich and long; its population is massive; its culture is diverse in itself and in contrast to the world. So where do we start? FLP China invites you to spend 12 days in Guangzhou to “taste” as you get to know more about China. What brings us all together is our desire for good food as a universal human need

Berlin, Germany

Rock star David Bowie called Berlin “the greatest cultural extravaganza that one could imagine.” One of Europe's most cutting-edge cities, Berlin has something for every taste and budget. Hundreds of historical sites, world-class art and architecture, beautiful parks and lakes, excellent international cuisine, and a fascinating youth culture are just some of the things you will enjoy in this amazing city.
