Dialogue Series on Antisemitism, Islamophobia, and Israel-Palestine
With the historic conflict and ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, college and university campuses across the nation have been locations where heated conversations, demonstrations, and activism have occurred. 91ÁÔÆæ is no exception. Some of this activity has lead to perceived discriminatory activity and increased violence, a situation that social media can amplify through the spread of misinformation, conspiracy theories, and polarizing content.
Promoting meaningful dialogue and understanding is crucial to counteract these trends and create a safer, more inclusive and engaged campus community. These challenges highlight the urgent need for open exchange of ideas and mutual understanding.
91ÁÔÆæ Students, please join the InterGroup Dialogue program as we welcome Marium Mohiuddin and Zack Ritter to lead two dialogues on two separate events to help gain a better understanding of history, nuance, and context surrounding the ongoing conflict.
