Doctoral Program Grants

Doctoral Program Grants are for eligible students enrolled in one of these CSU Doctoral Programs:

  • Education
  • Audiology
  • Nursing Practice
  • Occupational Therapy

To be eligible, student must:

  • Complete a FAFSA/CADAA application and have an eligible EFC and have financial need established.
  • Enrolled for the term in one of the above programs and paying the Doctorate Fee.
  • Classified as a California Resident.
  • Meet all the requirements to be considered eligible.

    Award amounts can vary from $500 to the full amount of the doctorate tuition fee charged depending on funding levels.

Doctoral students receiving a tuition-designated award (employee fee waiver, grant, or scholarship) that covers all doctorate tuition fees are not eligible for a doctoral grant. Students who are auditing classes or taking classes for β€œno credit” are not eligible for any financial aid towards those registration fees.

Awarding Process:
Grants are awarded after census of each semester once the funding levels have been established.
