Resident Life

“Living at I-House has been a truly fantastic experience. I’ve learned a lot in my time at the house, lessons that I’ve been able to apply to my studies and work. I study urban planning, which frequently involves gathering feedback from community members of diverse backgrounds and cultures. A challenge planners face is that it can be difficult or intimidating for some to give feedback in a second language. I-House has helped me improve my intercultural communication skills, allowing me to more effectively engage with members of the community.â€
