On June 18, 2024, President Biden that will create a clear pathway to permanent residency for qualifying spouses and children of U.S. citizens, and provide potential employment-based options for eligible DACA holders. The new Parole in Place (PIP) process will begin August 19, 2024 and there is no way to apply before that date.
