Controlling Slides Shared by Another Participant in Zoom Did you know that a presenter in a Zoom meeting can give slide control to one or more participants, so that others can control the progression of slides for the presenter or when they are presenting their portion of the presentation? You sure can! This avoids the need to ask the presenter to change the slide when they are ready, interrupting the flow of the meeting and presentation.
How to assign slide control:
- Share PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides in full-screen presentation mode.
- Click the Slide Control button on the Zoom toolbar.
- Select one or more participants to assign slide control.
How to use slide control:
- When youve been given access to slide control, the controls will appear just below the Zoom toolbar.
- Click the right arrow > or left arrow < buttons to move the presentation forward or backward.
As host, if you do not see the Slide Control button on the Zoom toolbar, you may need to enable the slide control in the Meeting Settings in the Zoom Web portal. Review the Zoom Slide Control Guide for more information.
