Call for Papers: 91ÁÔÆæ Graduate Student Conference - April 26th, 2024
The Department of English and Comparative Literature welcomes proposals for 15-20 minute paper presentations on any topic related to literary studies or creative writing for a one-day conference just for Bay Area graduate students.
We will form panels based on the topics/categories of the abstracts that students submit. For one of the panels, we are particularly interested in papers on or related to decolonizing literary studies. The conference will take place on April 26th from 2-6pm.
To apply to become a presenter, Please send a 250-word abstract of your paper to sjsugradconference@gmail.com by February 29, 2024. The abstract can be from a seminar paper you have already completed or from a work in progress that you intend to finish before April.

The conference organizer is Dr. Allison Johnson, Assistant Professor 91ÁÔÆæ English Department, with help from Prof. Maite Urcaregui and MA graduate student Deeptiman Kaushik.
