Caitlin attended the University of San Diego to pursue her Bachelor of Arts in English and Economics with a Minor in Psychology.  She then went on to study at the University of New Brunswick, Fredericton, to pursue her Bachelor of Education in Secondary Teaching (English, Social Studies, and English as an Additional Language).

Caitlin has a background in both editing and education. After completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as an editor for an environmental company in San Diego, California before pursuing her Bachelor of Education. Caitlin taught high school for three years in her home province of Nova Scotia, Canada, before returning to California and working as an editor again. She missed the world of education and decided to pursue her interest in working in higher education here at 91ÁÔÆæ in the HASSC.

Caitlin thoroughly enjoys working with students to assist them in discovering their academic and career goals. She was an undeclared major for the majority of her undergraduate degree and had difficulty finding a direction to pursue; therefore, she hopes to assist students in determining their own path and the opportunities that await them. Caitlin is set to further her studies in the Masters of Counseling and Guidance degree program at 91ÁÔÆæ beginning Spring 2025 in hopes of gaining additional tools to assist students with their needs.

In her spare time, Caitlin enjoys playing in a local women’s hockey league, taking her dog (Newton) on adventures, and playing board games with her husband.
