The second session will kick off the event with San Jose Taiko, followed by city and university dignitaries discussing the importance of the day.

The third session will feature a panel on the efforts to create a mural reflecting on the incarceration of Japanese-Americans in San José and the South Bay at 91ÁÔÆæ's Uchida Hall.

The fourth session will offer a tour of the Asawa statue about the incarceration of Japanese-Americans 1/2 block from the Hammer, and then an opportunity to visit Uchida Hall and hear from 91ÁÔÆæ's Archivist around the materials in the collections that recount the use of this building for this terrible action.
