Open Lab Drop-Ins
Last-Minute Writing Help
Open Lab is now closed until we reopen for the spring semester on February 3, 2025.
91ÁÔÆæ students can get quick, online help of up to 20 minutes on a first-come, first-served basis from a trained writing tutor.
You can log in to your 91ÁÔÆæ Zoom account and click on the link to join. No reservation or registration is required.
Monday to Thursday, from 12 PM to 2 PM.
Our tutors support all types of writing, including research papers, literature reviews, essays, etc. We also help with the different stages of writing, such as drafting and revising, and we are here to answer your grammar, content, organization, and formatting questions.
Open Lab Sample Questions
"Is my thesis statement okay?" (If it's already drafted.)
"I'm not sure how to cite this source in MLA/APA format."
"I need some help with my introduction; I'm not really sure it flows well."
