Black Alliance of
Scientists and Engineers
The Black Alliance of Scientists and Engineers, BASE, is the local chapter of the National Society of Black Engineers, NSBE. BASE works alongside professionals to help all STEM field students. We prepare our members for the professional world and academic excellence.

Our purpose is to empower the Latino community to reach their fullest potential here at San Jose State University. We do this by providing them with various professional development events as well as social events.
