We greatly appreciate your interest in the MESA Program at San Jose State University. MESA offers admission to eligible applicants on a space availability basis.

Program Expectations
Requirements to maintain in good standing.
- Advising
Freshmen (First Years/Frosh) & Sophomores (2nd Years/Soph) must complete three (3) meetings with your assigned MESA peer advisor each semester.
All other students (Juniors, Seniors+) must complete one (1) meeting with an assigned full-time MESA staff member.
- Events
All MESA students must attend one (1) professional development or career-focused "Access" event each semester.
All MESA students must attend one (1) social or community-focused "Engagement" event each semester.
