Electric Vehicle Charging Regulation
Paid parking is required at all times when parking on campus, including EV charging spaces.
As a courtesy to other electric vehicle drivers, the spaces must be used for charging purposes. Vehicles who disregard this policy by parking in EV spaces without the charging port plugged in will be subject to citation.

Eligible electric vehicles* only

Eligible electric vehicles* with Employee Permit only.
After 5:30 p.m., Mon.-Fri. and all-day on weekends: Eligible electric vehicles* only.
*Eligible vehicles include fully-electric or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEV) with charge ports. Non-electric vehicles or hybrid electric vehicles without charging ports are not considered eligible electric vehicles.
Four-hour limit at all times (including nights, weekends, and holidays).
In addition to starting a ChargePoint or ParkMobile charging session, individuals charging must also have a valid 91ÁÔÆæ physical or virtual parking permit. Vehicles parked longer than the 4-hour time limit, ineligible vehicles, or users who do not have a valid charging session and valid 91ÁÔÆæ parking permit will be subjected to a parking citation (CVC 21113A).
