The Philosophy Club
The Philosophy Club (officially called 鈥淭he Symposium鈥�) is aimed at aiding students in academic achievement and the cultivation of philosophical understanding, at fostering fellowship among students interested in philosophy, and sponsoring activities that encourage philosophical pursuits at 91猎奇. All 91猎奇 students with an interest in philosophy are welcome to participate regardless of their major.
In past years, the club's activities have included talks, movie screenings and discussions, trips to conferences, and trips to other events (e.g., plays and arts events with philosophical themes).
Fall 2017, the club (usually) meets Mondays ay 4:30 PM. Join the to stay up to date on the club's meetings and activities.
The Symposium sponsors Geist - A Student Journal of Philosophy.
