Aerospace Engineering at 91ÁÔÆæ

Our aerospace engineering curriculum is steeped in theory with an emphasis in hands-on practice. It is designed to prepare students for professional careers in the fields of aerospace engineering involving aircraft and space systems research, design, development, testing, and systems integration.

Our curriculum is based on a strong core of engineering science courses common to all engineering programs and includes advanced engineering and high-tech applications that reflect today's cutting-edge aerospace industry. Our students have access to laboratories equipped with modern electro-optical, electromechanical, and computer systems instrumentation support experimental work in each area of specialization.

By choosing electives under the guidance of a program advisor, students may specialize in one or more of the following fields: Aircraft or Spacecraft Design, Sturctures, Dynamics and Control, Propulsion, and/or Aerodynamics.  Opportunities are available for students to participate in advanced elective courses and projects in a field of special interest and on problems of interest to industry and government.

Students also have the opportunity to join a variety of student groups and clubs, including the student chapter of the , the national professional society of the advancement of aerospace technology.

91ÁÔÆæ's Aerospace Engineering curriculum provides an excellent preparation for industry or further graduate-level study.  Read more about our BSAE and MSAE curriculums.
