Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist Training Program

The Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist Training Program at San José State University is a 12 month training program that prepares students to take the national ASCP exam for the Clinical Genetic Molecular Biologist Scientist license. The training program is a 40 hour per week commitment with an emphasis on hands-on learning in one of our participating biotechnology laboratories. Most weeks, students will spend 35 hours in hands-on training and a minimum of 8 hours in lecture and coursework.
