Wildfire Sciences Minor
The Department of Meteorology and Climate Science offers a minor in Wildfire Sciences, which complements any career in which understanding wildfire science and wildlife risk is important. It is especially relevant to environmental and climate change related fields and prepares students to enter a workforce with wildfire-specific skill sets and knowledge. Nearly all employees in land management agencies and nonprofits in California are effectively working in wildfire or fire-related fields.
