Services Announcement

New Undergraduate Advising Hub Now Open!

We’re excited to announce the opening of our new Undergraduate Advising Hub at the Student Services Center on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. This hub will serve Lower Division Students (those with 0-59 units), while the Student Success Center will continue to support Upper Division Students (60+ units).

Locations:

Students may choose to meet with an advisor for an in-person appointment in either Duncan Hall (DH) 212 or the Undergraduate Advising Hub located in the Student Services Center.

Lower division <60 units (first and second year) advising is located in the located on the first floor of North Garage. Enter on 9th Street side of the building.

Upper division >60 units (third year and beyond) General Education (GE) and University advising is located in the Duncan Hall (DH) 212.

Drop-In Advising: CoSNAP

College of Science Navigation and Advising Place (CoSNAP) is a virtual space hosted by the College of Science Student Success Center advisors to support students in navigating or accessing quick information and/or resources for their success at 91ΑΤΖζ. 

Hosted October 01- November 11, 2024

Monday 11:00 am to 12:00 pm and Thursday 4:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Examples of Quick Questions for CoSNAP:

  • Who is my advisor?
  • Who should I talk to if I am interested in changing my major?
  • Who should I talk to about my transfer credit?
  • What should I do to apply for graduation?
  • What are some services to support me with my academic, personal, or career success?

for in-depth advising related to Academic Planning, Academic Notice, General Education, Change of Major, or Former Student Returning Advising.

Spartan Connect Cancellation Policy

If you cancel your appointment one hour or less before your scheduled appointment with an advisor, you will be marked as a β€œno-show”.

If you have three or more no-shows within the last 120 days. You cannot schedule appointments in Spartan Connect on your own.

It is your responsibility, as the student, to manage your schedule and cancel appointments at least an hour in advance to avoid no-shows.
