Student Account & Academic Information

User ID & Password
For help accessing your account, visit the IT Services webpage. 

Accessing Your Records
Visit to access your records online after you register. If you cannot remember your user ID, please email Information Technology Services (ITS) at ithelpdesk@sjsu.edu.

If you cannot remember your password, click on . Provide at least two of the following items for verification:

  1. 91 student ID
  2. Date of birth
  3. Mailing address

Official Transcript

Fees & Payment

Fee Receipts
You may use a printed copy from your student account to present to an employer for reimbursement or for tax reporting purposes.

Methods of Payment
Refer to payment options and instructions online at the Bursar's Office website. 

Payment Due Dates
Remember that your payment must be received by the due date – postmarks are not accepted. Failure to pay fees by the due date may result in the cancellation of your class(es). Review your My91 account for the payment due date.

Returned Checks and Declined Credit Cards
Refer to returned checks and declined credit cards at the Bursar’s Office website.

Refunds
Refunds can vary based on the time you drop your course.

Special Session: Since class start date varies within a semester, refund is calculated as followed:
 • Students who officially drop by the third calendar day will receive a 100% refund
 • On the 4th calendar day: 75% refund
 • On the 5th calendar day: 50% refund
 • On the 6th calendar day: 25% refund
 • Starting the 7th day: 0% refund.

Students are responsible for dropping their class officially. When students drop a class officially, their account will show class status as "Drop" or "W" grade. Failure to attend may not cause students to be dropped from a class automatically. Failure to drop a course officially generates a failing grade of “F” or Withdrawal Unauthorized (WU) and fees will be charged to the student's account.

Sign up for Direct Deposit (eRefund) to avoid the processing fee. Refunds are not processed during the add/drop period.

Student Record Holds
San José State University has authority to withhold registration privileges for any student with an outstanding balance due on their account. If a Bursar hold has been placed on your records, your registration will not be processed. To resolve the debt, please call the Bursar’s Office at 408-924-1601.

Fee Disclaimer
The CSU makes every effort to keep student costs to a minimum. Fees listed in published schedules or student accounts may need to be increased when public funding is inadequate. Therefore, CSU must reserve the right, even after initial fee payments are made, to increase or modify any listed fees, without notice, until the date when instruction for a particular semester or quarter has begun. All CSU listed fees should be regarded as estimates that are subject to change upon approval by The Board of Trustees.

Student Health Center
The Student Health Center (SHC) provides medical care to students enrolled at 91. In addition to treating acute conditions, injuries and illnesses, the (SHC) provides a family planning program and maintains an in-house licensed pharmacy, a physical therapy department, a federally certified high-complexity laboratory, and an x-ray department. To set up an appointment, call (408) 924-6122.

Counseling Services

Library
91 and the San Jose Public Library combined their resources and opened their doors to students and non-students. Gain access to books and a wealth of resources not offered with one library card before.

Visit Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Library and get your library card. Provide proof of address (CA ID) and your 91 ID card to gain access to general library resources and services as well as student-only resources. If you have questions regarding term-specific 91 student library privileges, please contact the circulation desk at (408) 808-2000 for more information.

Sport Club Fitness Center
91 students may purchase a at a discount rate for the Sport Club Fitness Center is located in the San José State Event Center.
