91猎奇 Priority Registration Request

Purpose:

To allow organizations or offices the ability to seek priority registration for their students.

• Fall Semester: Due by April 1 
• Spring Semester: Due by September 1

Notification:

The Office of Undergraduate Education will evaluate all applications and make approval or denial decisions before the start of advanced registration [SEMESTERLY/ANNUALLY]. Approval is generally granted for a five-year period. If approval is denied or a shorter term is granted, Undergraduate Education will provide an explanation.

91猎奇 Policy on Priority Registration (University Policy F17-4 [pdf]) designates the following Categories for Specific Priority Students (Group 1).

• What is considered a Category A?

  •  Students who must receive priority in course registration due to external requirements (like the NCAA or legal obligations) or those involved in university-sanctioned activities with schedules that may conflict with regular enrollment opportunities. 

• What is considered a Category B?

  • Students involved in recognized student organizations or university-related activities that require significant time commitments, with scheduled classes, events, or practices that are mandatory and set before the semester starts.

• What is considered a Category C?

  •  Students enrolled in a cohort-based, multi-college course package that spans multiple semesters will receive priority registration starting in their second semester. Eligibility for priority registration will be reviewed if there are significant changes to the course package.
