Center for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity (CAIC)

San José State University's Silicon Valley Center for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity (CAIC) stands as a pivotal institution at the intersection of academia and industry, committed to excellence in the realms of artificial intelligence, big data, and cybersecurity. Established in 2014, the CAIC leverages multidisciplinary collaboration, engaging nearly 20 full-time and adjunct faculty members from across the university.

CAE-CD Designation Symbol 91ÁÔÆæ has received the National Centers of Academic Excellence in Cyber Defense (CAE-CD) designation through 2029. This designation highlights 91ÁÔÆæ's commitment to providing rigorous, cutting-edge cybersecurity education that prepares students for successful careers and supports national priorities. The Silicon Valley CAIC provides the foundation for this designation. .
