Other Requirements

  1. Satisfy the CSU Graduate Writing Requirement 
  2. Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 and a C or better on all courses that count towards the MS degree (are listed on the Candidacy form [pdf])
  3. Pass MS Thesis or Project Defense
  4. Students without a BS MatE must take or show equivalencies for: 1 Semester General Chemistry; 1 Semester of Organic Chemistry; 2 Semester Physics; 1 Semester Calculus; 1 Semester Differential Equations; and MatE 115, 152, and 195. This assumes a closely related science or engineering BS degree.
