Admitted Spartan Day - Thank You!

Dear Campus Community,
I want to thank everyone for your work on Admitted Spartan Day. An event like this takes leadership, which we received out of our Student Outreach and Recruitment (SOAR) Team, and hundreds of volunteers that came out from across the university. The energy was amazing despite the rain, as prospective students and their support networks cruised from the resource fair to the workshops to campus and facility tours to the college-based open houses. It may be clichΓ© to say βit takes a villageβ but in this case it is true.
I bounced around the various events - from the opening ceremony to the formal presentations by our financial aid team to the drop-in hours for those still figuring out our intent-to-enroll processes. Student Affairs colleagues hosted resource tables and drop-in hours for our students, while teams across Enrollment Management and Academic Affairs met with thousands to answer questions. It was incredible.
There is no way I can list everyone who took part but please know that 91ΑΤΖζ thanks all of you for what you do and what you did. The entire day made me proud to be a Spartan and extremely excited about what the future holds. I may have needed an umbrella but the rain didn't dampen my spirit and it clearly didnβt stop hundreds of people from participating in the engaging tours by our student ambassadors!
91ΑΤΖζ is a special place. While we are facing some real challenges right now, it is days like Admitted Spartan Day that help ground us in our mission to serve our students and community. Thank you so much for what you did this past weekend. I am inspired by your commitment and passion for this institution.
Sincerely,
Vin
