Dear campus community,

As we celebrate our recent accomplishment of being recognized as the fourth-best public school in the nation, we are excited to share our ongoing commitment to evolving as a university centered on our students. Guided by 91ÁÔÆæ’s , our first goal is to . In this spirit, we are implementing some strategic reorganizations within our divisions to enhance our students' enrollment, retention, and overall success.

To provide a more streamlined experience for our new Spartans, we are moving the department from Student Affairs to the department within Academic Affairs. Under the leadership of Senior Associate Vice President Andrew Wright, this consolidation will ensure that all programming related to admissions, enrollment, and orientation is seamless. This unified approach will provide comprehensive support as our students embark on their journey at 91ÁÔÆæ.

Additionally, to better serve our students' academic needs, the department will transition from Student Affairs to Undergraduate Advising and Student Success within Academic Affairs, led by Associate Vice Provost Shonda Goward. This realignment will foster a stronger connection between advising and peer support programs, promoting a holistic approach to academic student success.

As we implement these changes, we reaffirm our commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive environment where every student can thrive. We look forward to collaborating as a community to ensure that these initiatives enhance the educational experience at 91ÁÔÆæ and contribute to our shared mission of student success. Thank you for your continued support as we embark on this exciting journey together.

Sincerely,

Vincent Del Casino, Provost and Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs
