How to Create a New Project in NVivo for Windows
The NVivo Start screen
This is the first screen you see when you start NVivo. From this screen, you can access projects and tap into online learning and community resources to help you get the most out of NVivo.
Create a new project

On the NVivo Start screen, click Blank Project.

Enter a name for this project and add a description.

Click the Browse button and choose a location to save your project (you can work locally or on a network). NVivo projects are saved as .nvp files.
If your organization has purchased NVivo Server, in the Save as type list, select NVivo Server Projects. Refer to the for more information.
