Transferring to a New Department

When an employee leaves your department, several steps must be followed prior to the employee's last day in your department.

  1. Collect university equipment/property
  2. Print an Employee Profile from and provide the date of termination (the first day they are no longer in the department); attach the resignation letter and send to Employee Support Services
  3. Approve employee's absences in
  4. If the separating employee has any direct reports for Absence Management purposes, submit a completed  Your DocuSign questions answered. to designate "new reports to."
  5. Initiate the
